The vast majority of these companies will provide expert plumbing & heating knowledge and carry out plumbing & heating jobs to at least a satisfactory standard. We at KCC also provide the same expertise & delivery. However, of those 30,000 registered companies, we would suggest the majority do not offer the service KCC strive to offer – a remarkable & reliable customer service.
Many consumers across the UK complain about the reliability of plumbing & heating engineers; always late with no pre-warning, no shows, hard to contact, no response, poor aftersales care, untidy & impolite.

Appointments
At KCC, we try to provide 2-hour arrival timeslot windows. As you might imagine, each job can have differing time durations, so our timeslot windows help us to help you make your life as least disruptive as possible. Sometimes we may want to alter the schedule in real time and will contact you to keep you informed.
Tenants
Please help us deliver our reliable service by communicating with us if you cannot make any pre-arranged appointment. We will endeavour to rearrange the appointment for a mutually agreed day & timeslot. We are a small, local Team and missed appointments are a cost on the company. If we arrive at the agreed timeslot but are unable to access the property, you may be served an aborted call charge.
It is always best to try and book in for repairs ASAP to prevent damages. If there are reported repairs required at your property, it is essential to book these in with our Team ASAP to prevent damages. You may be liable for damages that could’ve been avoided by booking in as early as possible (for example, leak damages).
Callouts
One of our KCC Team will attend to investigate and repair your issue for a £78 fee (£65+VAT)
We will test, diagnose, and repair your issue once on site. We allow an hour for this.
WHAT IF THE ISSUE CANNOT BE RESOLVED DURING THE CALLOUT?
If the repairs are more involved and parts are required, we will provide our best recommendation and quotation for repairs. The initial £78 fee would be waived should you wish to go ahead with our quotation.
Quoting
If a quote/estimate is required, this will be delivered to you digitally. This information will usually be sent to you within 24 hours. However, if the repairs are urgent, the Engineer will speed up the process accordingly by communicating with our Admin Team.
Boiler Servicing
When booking a Boiler Service, it is important for you to provide any information of any possible existing issues you’re having (if any) as you may be able to save yourself some time & money on repairs. Some faults & defects may be repaired during a Boiler Service, but some may require further chargeable repairs. A Boiler Service usually takes around an hour to complete. You will receive a digital document detailing the service which will include all necessary information and any recommendations.
Isolating / Shutting Off Water
During most repairs, we will have to isolate your water services by using existing stopcocks and valves. KCC will not be liable for repairs to leaking / seized stopcocks and valves following use.
Boiler Servicing
When booking a Boiler Service, it is important for you to provide any information of any possible existing issues you’re having (if any) as you may be able to save yourself some time & money on repairs. Some faults & defects may be repaired during a Boiler Service, but some may require further chargeable repairs. A Boiler Service usually takes around an hour to complete. You will receive a digital document detailing the service which will include all necessary information and any recommendations.
Guarantee
We offer guarantees for our repairs based on each specific repair. This will be specified on any quotation document.
If any issues arise following our services, it is vital that you contact us ASAP. We cannot offer any guarantee if we haven’t been informed of the issue within a reasonable timeframe. We also cannot offer any guarantee if you or anyone else has attempted any further repairs following our attendance.
Invoicing
Following repairs, we will sometimes allow up to two weeks before invoicing. This is to make sure there are no issues remaining. Invoices will be sent via email and can be paid via cash, cheque, PayPal, by card (over the phone), or bank transfer/BACS.
Abuse
KCC operate under a Zero-Tolerance policy. Any abuse, aggression or threats directed towards our Team will automatically result in immediate termination of our services.
